1. What makes Olivira soaps different?

Our soaps are handcrafted in Tripoli, Lebanon using traditional olive oil soap-making methods that have been preserved for generations. Each bar is produced in small batches with a focus on simplicity, consistency, and craftsmanship.

2. Are Olivira soaps skincare products?

No. Olivira soaps are classified as cleansing bar soaps. We do not market them as skincare products and do not make cosmetic claims.

3. Do your soaps contain sodium hydroxide (lye)?

Yes. Sodium hydroxide is a standard and necessary ingredient in the soap-making process (saponification). However, it is fully consumed during this reaction and does not remain in the finished bar.

4. What ingredients do you use?

Our soaps are made with a base of olive oil and carefully selected ingredients. Scented bars include added fragrance for aroma.

5. Are your soaps vegan?

Yes. Our soaps are made without animal-derived ingredients and are not tested on animals.

6. Why do some bars look slightly different?

Each bar is handcrafted and individually packaged. Subtle variations in appearance and weight are a natural result of this process.

7. Is your packaging sustainable?

We use minimal, plastic-free packaging wherever possible and aim to reduce unnecessary waste across our products.

8. Where is Olivira based?

Olivira is based in Ontario, Canada. Our soaps are produced in a historic, family-run facility in Tripoli, Lebanon.

9. Where do you ship?

We currently ship across Canada and the United States, with plans to expand internationally.

10. Do you accept returns?
